A direct fix system mounts the glass clamp hardware directly to the top of a structural substrate such as a concrete slab or timber joist making it ideal for balconies and elevated decks. A side-mount system fixes to the face of a fascia or beam, which is common where top mounting isn’t structurally possible or aesthetically preferred.
