Frameless Glass Commercial Railing Systems
Frameless Glass Commercial Railing Systems
Glass Vice® Commercial Railing Systems are built for demanding commercial projects. They deliver structural performance, verified code compliance, and clean architectural lines — all in one system. We supply wholesale to contractors, glaziers, and developers across San Diego, Orange County, and nationwide.
Engineered for high-traffic environments. ICC-ES approved. Built to last.
ICC-ES Approved. The Credential Your Project Needs.
The Glass Vice® bracket system holds ICC-ES Evaluation Report ESR-3563. This independent third-party approval confirms compliance with the International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC).
Most competing frameless glass railing systems cannot offer this. As a result, architects, specifiers, and building departments consistently turn to ESR-3563 as the document that gets commercial submittals approved — fast.
Approved glass thicknesses under ESR-3563:
- 9/16" toughened safety glass
- 5/8" toughened safety glass
2205 Duplex Stainless. Built for Coastal Conditions.
Glass Vice® hardware is manufactured from 2205 Duplex stainless steel — a higher-grade alloy than the standard 304 or 316 stainless used by most competitors. Specifically, it was chosen for its exceptional resistance to salt air, coastal corrosion, and high-UV exposure.
For San Diego and Orange County projects — beachfront hotels, marina developments, and coastal hospitality venues — this material choice delivers long-term performance without ongoing maintenance. While standard stainless corrodes in these conditions, 2205 Duplex does not.
Why Contractors and Architects Specify Glass Vice®
- ICC-ES Report ESR-3563 IBC and IRC compliant, 9/16" and 5/8" glass
- The system in our range approved for heavy commercial and high-load environments
- Competing frameless bracket systems rarely carry an ICC-ES evaluation report
- No holes drilled in the glass ever
- 2205 Duplex stainless — outperforms 304 and 316 in coastal conditions
- Frameless design clear sightlines across large commercial spaces
- Specified on major California hospitality and commercial projects
- Wholesale supply San Diego, Orange County, and nationwide

Applications
Applications
Hotel balconies and lobby railings · Stadium upper decks and public galleries · Restaurant and bar mezzanines · School staircases and corridors · Retail center atria and floor edges · Airport terminals and transit facilities · Office building stair and balcony railings · Mixed-use residential and commercial developments
Proven on Major San Diego Projects
Glass Vice® has been specified on some of Southern California’s most demanding commercial builds:
Portside Pier · 5th and Ash · Coronado Beach Club
Each project demanded high public load capacity, coastal durability, and a clean architectural finish. Furthermore, each required a system that could pass the scrutiny of architects and building departments alike. Glass Vice® met all three requirements.
No Holes in the Glass. Ever.
Most commercial railing systems require drilling through the glass panel to fix it in place. Drilling creates stress points and weakens the panel and once drilled, it cannot be undone.
Glass Vice® Patented Double Friction Technology works differently. Rather than penetrating the glass, it secures each panel through friction alone. Because there is no drilling, glass integrity is fully preserved. Installation is faster, and the finished result is a cleaner, frameless aesthetic with nothing interrupting the sightline.
For commercial projects where both safety performance and visual outcome matter, this is a significant advantage.
