Clearline Frameless Glass Railing

Our latest project highlights the use of Clearline Frameless Glass Railing, delivering safety, functionality, and timeless design. Tasked with upgrading a historic school hall balcony, we ensured the structure met modern safety codes while preserving its classic timber aesthetic.

The Challenge

The existing timber parapet no longer complied with safety standards. We needed to provide a durable, code-compliant solution that blended seamlessly into the historic design without obstructing views.

The Solution

The Clearline® Frameless Glass System proved to be the perfect choice. Here’s how we achieved the transformation:

• Timber Parapet Disassembly: Carefully removed the timber baluster to access the structural parapet.
• Precise Installation: Used patented Clearline clamps for secure and adjustable glass installation.
• Custom Glass Panels: Installed half-inch laminated safety glass, faceted to match the curved parapet and deliver uninterrupted views.
• Seamless Finish: Reassembled the timber facade to conceal brackets, creating a flawless look.

A Seamless & Frameless Result

The upgraded balcony now meets modern safety standards while retaining its historic charm. The nearly invisible frameless glass has received rave reviews for its elegance, completed just in time for the school’s graduation ceremony.
